Bohai Bay PL19-3Early Production SystemOffshore China Phillips China Inc. Early Production System (EPS) conceptual design, cost estimates and development schedule based on the use of a soft yoke moored FSO. This phase was followed by preparation of ITB documents for upgrading an existing FPSO along with bid issues, evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization. INTEC is currently supporting Phillips in the execution of the FPSO contract in China during engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI). 2003

Corocoro Field Development Study Gulf of PariaVenezuela Conoco In partnership with SPS Inc., INTEC performed a systematic analysis of various configurations and options to achieve early and full field development of the field. The early production evaluation considered: 15 Wellhead Configurations 68 Production Platform Designs, 113 Take-off Systems. A number of these options were selected for further investigation based on agreed techno-economic criteria. The options for Full Field Development were also investigated and evaluated. 2001
Mardi Gras Marine Transportation SystemGreen Canyon RegionGulf of Mexico BP Amoco Corporation Evaluation of the Marine Crude Oil Transportation concepts for single and multi-field developments in the deep water GOM, including CAPEX, OPEX and Schedules leading up to first oil. In addition, rendered BP assistance with the selection of the preferred option. INTEC was then directed to prepare and issue Shipyard Pre-qualification Questionnaires followed by Tenders to the short listed yards and eventual assessment of the returned bids. The project was finally closed in favor of a pipeline solution. 2001

Minimum Facilities SPAR StudyGulf of Mexico Mariner Energy Determine size and CAPEX of a minimum facilities SPAR for the Gulf of Mexico in a water depth of 3,000 ft. The SPAR would be unmanned and would not have oil storage, drilling or workover capabilities. Cost comparisons for different water depths and mooring line components were developed. 1999

Mini-Floater StudyGulf of Mexico Union Pacific Resources, Inc. Determine size and CAPEX of a minimum facilities SPAR for a Gulf of Mexico development in a water depth of 3,050 ft. The Mini-Floater was sized to support a topsides weight of 2,000 tons. CAPEX was developed for several options. 1997
Erawan Field FSO ProjectOffshore Thailand Unocal Thailand, a subsidiary of Unocal USA Unocal has operated the 85,000 dwt Erawan FSO since 1981. INTEC was requested to evaluate replacing the existing converted FSO with either a new purpose-built or converted tanker FSO, or repair and refurbish the existing FSO while utilizing a leased FSO on a temporary basis. Based on study results, existing FSO was towed to a shipyard for life extension and refurbishment. INTEC provided engineering services for preparation of the FSO life extension bid documents, and engineering and inspection services during refurbishment. 1997
Tantawan Field FSO ProjectOffshore Thailand Thaipo Ltd., a subsidiary of Pogo Producing Company Tantawan Explorer FSO designed for 50,000 bpd of oil and 150 million scfd of gas. INTEC services included design basis, tanker acquisition, classification liaison, RFQs, bid evaluation, process modules, turret mooring, riser system and project management services. 1997
Maui B Field FSO ProjectOffshore New Zealand Shell-Todd Services, Ltd. Maui B Platform tied back to an FSO via flexible pipe flowlines and risers. INTEC services included technical and economic feasibility study, CAPEX and OPEX cost estimates, detailed FSO performance specification and Invitation to Tender, tender evaluation and site engineering services during FSO design, conversion and mooring system fabrication. 1996

(EPMI) INTEC services included evaluating various field development options based on dedicated shuttle tankers loading from SPM systems, long term chartering of an FSO or FSO or direct purchase of an FSO or FSO. Capital and operating costs were generated for each option including costs of process systems. 1993
Cohasset/Panuke Field FSO ProjectOffshore Eastern Canada Lasmo Nova Scotia Ltd., a subsidiary of Lasmo plc (U.K.) 121,000 dwt tanker converted to an FSO and a 76,000 dwt tanker converted to a dedicated shuttle tanker and an SPM system. INTEC services included conversion engineering, construction management, inspection services and coordination of repairs and conversion at the shipyard. 1992
Warda Field FSO StudyOffshore Egypt British Gas Egypt, S.A. Well platform produced fluids transported by subsea pipeline to an FPSO. The FPSO also provides electrical power for the well platform. INTEC performed an economic and technical evaluation of an existing FPSO compared to the use of a new FPSO conversion, evaluation of existing FPSO, evaluation of tankers suitable for conversion, comparison of SPM versus spread mooring, evaluation of shipyards capable of FPSO conversion, cost and schedule comparison for refurbishing existing FPSO compared to new conversion. 1992
