Since 1988, INTEC has established an excellent reputation for quality engineering and project management of Floating Production Systems (FPS) including conversion or new building of tanker-based FPSO/FSO systems, semi-submersible FPS, tension leg platforms (TLP) and SPAR type structures. INTEC has a very experienced staff of naval architects and marine engineers who have been directly responsible for the engineering design, conversion, fabrication, installation and commissioning of the full range of floating systems.

In selecting the optimum type of floating system; field location, environmental conditions, water depth and production rate are major factors. Field development studies based on the utilization of floating systems require consideration of all options. INTEC is well qualified to propose and develop innovative solutions using one or more of the floating production system concepts:

INTEC has gained substantial experience in floating systems during the past decade, such as full project management of the Tantawan Field FPSO conversion and installation offshore Thailand. INTEC has advanced to new build FPSO/FSO engineering including SPAR and TLP technology.
