Job Description:

Manage the contractor with respect to all pipeline activities for the system SCR/Flexiable, Risers.  Monitor technical performance and review Design Premise, design deliverables and offshore construction manuals throughout all project phases.  Review dynamic analyses of the riser system covering transportation, installation and operation phases.  Liaise with Company specialists to gather comments to design documentation and to resolve technical queries.  Oversee fabrication and coating of riser sections.  Monitor fabrication of all associated hardware, i.e. buoyancy elements, foundation, bulkheads etc.  Manage reporting during all phases.  Manage interfaces with Topside contractor and systems F, Flowlines.  Attend HAZOP’s and project reviews.  Define procedures for analysis and identify the related software to develop the relevant tools.  Organize and lead riser related technical activities.  Deal with customers on technical issues. 

Education and Experience:

The position requires extensive technical knowledge of riser systems and design and analysis procedures for Floating Production Systems (FPS). Working knowledge in ABAQUS, FLEXCOM 3-D, ORCAFLEX also required.  12 years experience in the riser technology and well systems engineering.  PhD degree in civil/ocean/mechanical engineering with structural design background.
